What are the requirements for accessing a credit line with Payechi?
•As a new customer, if you are applying to Payechi, the only documents you need to upload to enable us carryout due diligence to complete your application are:
•Proof of identity – ideally a driving licence or passport.
•Bank statement - 2 most recent months.
•Pay slip - 2 most recent months or other Proof of income - (if your income details do not show on your bank statement).
Why do we need to see proof of identity, address and income?
•We demand for these details in order to check the identity of all our customers if they comply with the basic requirements for accessing our credit line. They are requested to also protect you from criminals who might try to use your identity without you knowing!
What are the delivery timings for orders?
Delivery starts from 21 to 3rd of every month.
What happens if I cannot make payment at the expiration of my credit line?
•You account may be subject to a Late Payment Charge. If you are having difficulties in making payment, or if you have already missed a payment, please contact the customer service straight away. Our staff will listen, and aim to understand your circumstances. They may be able to offer you help and advice or offer alternative solutions. We’re here to help!
What is Payechi credit line?
•Payechi credit line is the approved amount that is available for you to spend. Your credit limit gets reduced every time you shop. It gets restored to the original limit once you repay your bills!
What is the maximum credit limit?
•Currently the maximum possible credit limit for individual customers is N100, 000 or 40% of your total monthly income and N 5,000,000 for coprporate clients.
How will my order be delivered to me?
•Your order would be delivered through reputed courier companies at your doorstep.
How will I know if order is placed successfully?
•Once your Order is successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation over email and text message from Payechi. This mail will have all the details related to your order. Order details can also be viewed at My Account > Order history, if you have placed the order through your log in ID.
What is the standard delivery time?
•Delivering start from 21 to 3rd of every month
Will I be informed once my order is processed?
•Once your order is confirmed and processed, you will receive a delivery notification via E-mail/SMS advising you on the estimated date of delivery. You will also receive a call on the day of delivery for final confirmation.
I got a confirmation call for my order. Why is that?
•You receive a confirmation call for your order to verify if there isn't any change with your order and the delivery location.
Do you take orders over phone?
•Unfortunately, no we don’t.
How do I check the status of my order?
•Your order status is updated to you via emails and SMS at every step. Once your order is placed you would receive an SMS and an email with your order details. Once your order is dispatched you receive an SMS In case of any unforeseen events which delay your order you would receive a special update from our end.
Why have I not received my order yet?
•Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is possible that your order might get delayed. We will call you or/and send you an E-mail/SMS informing you about the delay along with the new expected delivery date.
Can I add an item to my order after I have placed my order?
•Unfortunately no, orders are taken just once so be sure to make the right orders.
Which courier company will deliver my order? Is it possible to choose my preferred delivery partner?
•For a smooth delivery of your orders, we have tied up with a number of trustworthy delivery partners. Once your order is dispatched, you will be informed about the delivery details via E-mail/SMS. Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to choose your preferred delivery partner. However, we will inform you when such services are rolled out in future.
How do I pay using a credit/debit card?
•We accept payments made using Visa and MasterCard and credit cards.
•To pay using your credit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number (found on the backside of your card). After entering these details, you will be redirected to the page where you enter the online secure password.
Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on Payechi?
•Your online transaction on Payechi is secure with the highest levels of transaction security currently available on the Internet. Payechi uses a secure payment gateway to protect your card information while securely transmitting it to the respective banks for payment processing.
•All credit card and debit card payments on Payechi are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading banks.
What steps does Payechi take to prevent card fraud?
•Payechi realizes the importance of a strong fraud detection and resolution capability. We and our online payments partners monitor transactions continuously for suspicious activity and flag potentially fraudulent transactions for manual verification by our team.
In the rarest of rare cases, when our team is unable to rule out the possibility of fraud categorically, the transaction is kept on hold, and the customer is requested to provide additional identity documents. The ID documents help us ensure that the purchases were indeed made by a genuine card holder. We apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused to customers and request them to bear with us in the larger interest of ensuring a safe and secure environment for online transactions.
Does Payechi charge any fee for registration?
Not at all! Signing up on Payechi is absolutely FREE. There are no fees involved in registering or getting approval.
